Winding the watch movement

resists
Setting the time
Pull the crown out and turn in a clockwise direction until the desired time is indicated. Push the crown back into its original position
Winding the musical movement
Open the back of the watch using the thumbnail groove
Inset the key into the square aperture and turn the key gently in a
clockwise direction, ensuring that it remains inserted
Starting and stoping the music
Press the button under the winding hole and it will start the
music and bring the animated scene to life
The music will play as long as the button is being pressed and
provided the spring controlling the musical movement is not
completely unwound
Setting the alarm
Pull out the sided crown and turn it in a clockwise direction
until the hand indicates the desired time.
Push the crown back into its original position
When the alarm goes off, the music will play for about one
minute
when the music stops, the musical movement must be wound up again
in readiness for subsequent use
If you do not wish the alarm to go off on the following day, pull
out the sided crown, turn it in a clockwise direction until the
hand indicates the present time and push the crown back in
A Charles Reuge pocket watch is a mechanical instrument. The more
it is used, the better the quality of the sound it emits
To ensure optimum performance, we recommend winding the watch and musical movement every day
