Lawrence Hargrave invented in 1893, 125 years ago, the “box kite” which is generally considered to be the precursor of the subsequent bi-planes and consequently today’s airplanes.More than a century ago, Orville Wright piloted the first powered airplane 20 feet above a wind-swept beach in Kitty Hawk. An extremely emotional moment for them and a permanent memory for mankind.These very first modest steps have led to today’s ever-advancing aviation and would lead the way for mankind greatest accomplishment.
Around the same moment, on the other side of the ocean in the Swiss mountains,
the emotional world of mechanical music boxes started.Today, these two worlds unite with Reuge newest and greatest piece : the “”BIPLANE””.
